NC Hyperbaric launches all-new High Pressure Processing equipment: Wave 6000/120
NC Hyperbaric is presenting in the 2010 edition of IFFA (8-13 May 2010, Frankfurt, Germany) its new industrial equipment, including the iWave range of integrated High Pressure Processing machines, and the brand new Wave 6000/120 machine.

Wave 6000/120 is designed to service SME’s who are in need of consistent productions but want to minimize the initial investment, and/or are experiencing space difficulties in their facilities. Together with the Wave 6000/135, NC Hyperbaric now fully completes its range of equipment solutions for food industries with medium-high production requirements.

Wave 6000/120 brings a highly innovative concept to High Pressure Processing as it is fully integrated with its two independent intensifiers inside the machine, and no external cabinets or modules.  This piece of equipment was developed by mixing the well proven, integrated concept of Wave 6000/55 with an advanced industrial design, providing a highly productive and reliable High Pressure Processing equipment at diminished costs.

Andrés Hernando, Managing Director of NC Hyperbaric, commented about this technological solution “there is no doubt that we would not be the Benchmark in HPP technology if a company like ourselves would not be totally focused on innovation and on developing new, improved equipment” Mr Hernando said. “ We are investing over 9% of our yearly turnover in RandD activities, hoping that this will keep on being translated in maintaining our leadership in this technology”, he added.

NC Hyperbaric designs, manufactures and markets High Pressure Processing technology for food since 2000, and is the global leading supplier since 2005. Francisco Purroy, Technical Sales Manager of the company, points out “we are working really hard in order to deliver our customers the most advanced, reliable and efficient technology in the market. Our company has even further solidified our position as the reference in design and manufacturing of HPP industrial equipment; this reality is clearly reflected by our competitors attempts to mimic our design and functionality”.

Wave 6000/120
High Pressure Processing technology is an emerging Non-Thermal food processing technique that allows marketing fresher, more natural products. The value propositions of this post-packaging technique include shelf-life extension, pathogen destruction, and it offers a very valuable tool for New Product Development.
